My name is Julia Alfonso Garzon and I am currently working at LAEFF. I got my degree in Physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2005. After that I was working as a trainee at LAEFF under the supervision of Carmen Morales studying the extinction factor in the Interestellar Medium. Later I was working at CSIC. My research there was focused in the study of bidimensional kinematics of luminous and ultraluminous galaxies, using integral field spectroscopy with VIMOS and INTEGRAL. With this work I defended my master thesis in Astrophysics and Cosmology at Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Since June of past year, I am working with Miguel Mass and Albert Domingo as a member of the OMC team, performing the calibration of the instrument and looking for variable objects in the OMC database, studying the optical light curves available.
