Phoenix: automatic science processing of ESO-VLT data

In the past ESO-VLT science data have been processed by the Data Processing and Quality Control Group in Garching, using instrument pipelines for the processing and certified master calibrations. The science products were made available to the PIs (only). This service was terminated in late-2011 due to manpower limitations. This poster presents a plan to re-establish a scheme for automatic, science-grade processing of VLT science data.
