Anthony Jonckheere Royal Observatory of Belgium |
Anthony Jonckheere is a computer engineer and works at the Royal Observatory of Belgium. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts (Brussels) and got a Master in Telematics from the University of Brussels (ULB). His involvement in the Gaia mission began in 2007 as a software engineer to support the development under Java. Since then, he has become a member of CU4 (Object processing), CU6 (Spectroscopic processing), CU7 (Variability processing) and CU8 (Astrophysical Parameters). Before this, he was in charge of the software development team of the Belgian Science Policy project DISSCO which focus on electronic records management. His main interests are software development methodology and data mining/archiving. [Published: 20/05/2008] |
