Groupe de Recherche en Astronomie & Astrophysique du Languedoc (GRAAL)
Gérard Jasniewicz's scientific interests mostly concern chemical abundances of evolved stars (giant, AGB and post-AGB) in the galactic field and globular clusters, in order to test stellar evolutionary models. Gérard worked for many years at the Strasbourg Data Center (CDS), and is presently working at the Groupe de Recherche en Astronomie & Astrophysique du Languedoc (GRAAL), a research group affiliated to the CNRS and University of Montpellier (France). He joined the Gaia RVS Working group in 2004. Now, within the Gaia CU6: Spectroscopic Processing, he is in charge of the top level work package "Radial Velocity zero point" and he is also a member of the steering committee for CU6.
