Indrek Kolka is a member of the Photometry Working Group. A staff member of the Tartu Observatory in Estonia, he leads the Estonian interests in Gaia, organising a workshop there in July 2002. His main field of activity in the Photometry Working Group has been the evaluation of photometric systems proposed for Gaia from the viewpoint of emission-line stars. This topic is directly connected with the long-term research programs at the Tartu Observatory which include the spectroscopic monitoring of LBV, Be, WR, and symbiotic stars.
