Paolo Montegriffo graduated in Astronomy in the Bologna University in 1994; between 1998 and 2004 he worked as a technical/scientific collaborator and since 2005 as a researcher astronomer at the INAF-Astronomical Observatory of Bologna. His main interests are: globular clusters, crowded field photometry, data analysis, software development. He has been involved as software developer into ESO-VLT VIMOS project, in Ital-FLAMES consortium and in Giano project. As a member of the CU5 - DU14, he is involved in the definition of the absolute calibration model of the G-band and BP/RP spectra and in the development of the corresponding algorithms to be implemented in the CU5 photometric pipeline.
