Pasi Nurmi is a researcher at the Tuorla Observatory in Finland. He is a member of the Double and Multiple Stars Working Group and the Photometry Working Group. Pasi has been working on the image data processing and in particular has developed an algorithm to combine several patches into one image.
Pasi's scientific interests also cover Gaia-related double star simulations, binary evolution and galaxy modelling. He plans to continue working in these areas.
He left Gaia in late 2006.
