I am a member of the Gaia community since 2006 and i am involved in CU2 (Simulation data). As the attitude of the satellite is one of the leading items for the measurement my focus is on the development of techniques for attitude and disturbance torque modelling. These techniques will provide accurate models as well as parameter identification methods for utilization in the scientific data analysis. They can not only be used to calibrate and improve the data during the mission lifetime but also to improve the scientific results in the post-mission data reduction. At my institute I benefit from the experience of long-time and multisided projects on various satellite missions. [Published: 07/05/2008] |
