Silvia Marinoni INAF, Osservatorio Astronomico di Bologna (Italy) |
Silvia graduated in the Bologna University in 2003 with a study on morphological, spectroscopic and dynamical properties of isolated galaxy pairs. From 2006 to 2009 she worked at the TNG telescope in La Palma, Canary Island. Since March 2008, Silvia is a member of DU13 in CU5 and her work is focused mainly on the data quality control and short term variability monitoring of SpectroPhotometric Standard Stars ground-based observation, for the external flux calibration of Gaia G-band and BP/RP (spectro)photometry. In 2011 she obtained her PhD at the Bologna University with a Gaia related Thesis on the Quality Control and Data Analysis of multi-site ground-based observations for the absolute flux calibration of Gaia.
