Thierry Levoir is a system engineer in the CNES Gaia Team at Toulouse. He is responsible for coordinating the technical aspects for all of the CNES Gaia-related activities. He is also deputy manager of Coordination Unit CU1: System Architecture.

Before joining the Gaia team in 2006, he was involved in the development of many different archives systems (including data ingestion, data management, data access, interoperability aspects), either within a Research and Development framework or for operational projects.
