Payload Technology Validation section

The Payload Techology Validation section (SCI-FIV) is in charge of specific mission oriented validation activities, for science and robotic exploration missions, aiming at reducing development risks in the implementation phase:

• critical interfaces with the spacecraft or,
• science performance dependence on the sensor degradation induced by radiation damage for enabling implementation decision.

The section also provides general support to Projects under development and in operations as well as to specific research activities.
