I am studying the internal structure and possible formation and evolution history of super-Earths and sub-Neptunes. To achieve this goal, I am developing the publicly available Python code plaNETic that can be used to infer the internal structure of small exoplanets using neural networks. I am also interested in possible ways to unveil the formation and evolution history of these planets by identifying planetary system analogues in a synthetic planetary population.
On the observational side, I am part of the CHEOPS science team, where I am leading a GTO program aimed at improving the radius precision of small exoplanets which potentially host a volatile-rich envelope.
