Announcements of Opportunity (AO Calls)

The pathway for proposing your own PLATO science cases is through the Announcements of Opportunity (AO Calls) issued by ESA for the Guest Observers (GO) Programme. These opportunities are formal windows during which the worldwide science community is invited to submit proposals for complementary research programmes to be carried out with the mission. All submitted proposals will be evaluated by a dedicated Time Allocation Committee in a dual anonymous process, and awarded proposals will be able to carry out their observations with the mission within all applicable constraints.
