Data Privacy Notice
To support both the evaluation of proposals and the execution of observing programmes, along with principles of scientific transparency and collaboration, the PLATO Guest Observers (GO) Programme requires the collection and processing of certain personal data from prospective users and their teams. When submitting a proposal requesting observing time, Principal Investigators (PIs) must confirm that they have read and agree to the processing of personal data as described in the applicable Data Privacy Notice. PIs are also responsible for ensuring that all team members named in the proposal have provided their agreement for the use of their personal data. Team members should be given a copy of the relevant Data Privacy Notice, and the PI should retain appropriate records of their consent.
