Please be reminded of the agreed dates for the 13th Proba‑3 Science Working Team Meeting, which will take place in Davos, Switzerland, from 27–29 May 2026. Please add this event to your calendar for the new year.

And indeed, another year has passed—an exciting year for Proba‑3. Last year at this time, several of us returned from India after witnessing a wonderful launch and an energising Science Working Team meeting. We were eager to learn whether precision formation flying of the two spacecraft would work as planned, and what data quality we could achieve for our instrumentation.

The performance we observed—both for formation flying and for the 3DEES, DARA, and ASPIICS instruments—exceeded our expectations. Mid‑year we successfully passed the In‑Orbit Commissioning Review, marking the start of nominal operations. Since the summer, all instruments have been operating regularly and delivering a large volume of high‑quality data. We held two Science Working Team meetings this year and launched the monthly “Science Tag‑up” telecons. The first ASPIICS Data Workshop took place at AIRA in Bucharest just a few weeks ago. Last but not least, we are requesting a Proba‑3 mission extension.
