Long Term Planning and Remote-Sensing Windows information
A description of the SOOP summary table
- The first column lists the generic description of the Solar Orbiter Observing Plan (SOOP) without the mnemonic system (see this explanation on the SOOPs for further information)
- The second column provides more information on the intended observation during the run of the SOOP
- Columns 3-7 + Column 12 provide further information on the SOOPs
- Columns 8-11 provide information on coordinated observations during that time, to the best knowledge of the project scientists
- Columns 13-14 provide information on where to get the data from the archive (Column 13: N/A yet) and quicklooks from the instruments over the period covered by the SOOP
- Column 15 provide further notes on the SOOP such as information on the target, papers published etc.
How to use the SOOP summary table
- Columns can be hidden/shown for further ease of investigation
- If keywords are known (e.g. SOOP names, Long-Term Planning name), the top search bar allows to search through the whole table
- SOOPs can be listed per column (by default: SOOPs are listed by their start date)
-
SOOP data can be explored by clicking on the "Observation summary" links provided in the column "Quicklooks". This provides a brief summary of the location of Solar Orbiter during the SOOP duration ("Orbit Plot"), the data availability in the Solar Orbiter Archive, the Fields-of-View of EUI/HRI, SPICE and PHI/HRT (whenever available), as well as a list of images and plots from all the instruments that were observing during that time.
Call to the science community: please provide feedback (including any science inputs relevant to the observations) for the SOOP summary table at the link here.
Other information on coordination
DKIST Coordination: the official list of all coordinated observations that have resulted in calibrated data can be found here:
