This years SCI Science Workshop will be fully virtual for the first time. It will take place on the afternoons on December 1-3, with 2.5-3 hours of program each day. The program will consist of a few invited talks focussing on latest results from some of our missions and other science highlights, special topics (H/SCI-SC update and science budget, life with COVID, Communications, Education, Science faculty update), RF and YGT introduction, and contributed posters. We strive for interactive and fun content.

To present a poster, please submit an abstract through the menu point on the left side. In addition to title and abstract (as a 1 page max. pdf file), we ask for a fact or question about the poster. This may be used for a poster quiz that will be set up for the meeting.  There will also be presentations summarizing the content of the posters. The deadline for abstract submission is Friday, 13th November. A maximum of 3 abstracts per participant can be submitted.

For the poster itself, in addition to the poster we are going to ask for a 2 minute video that presents its subject. They can then be viewed by the participants before or during the meeting. Upload instructions are provided by email.

The virtual poster sessions will take place on GatherTown. You can get a walkthrough of the software here.

No registration is needed for the meeting. Connection instructions for webex will be provided by email.
