Working with Euclid Q1: From Data Access to Science
1–3 December 2025 | ESA’s European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), Madrid, Spain

We are pleased to announce that the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), the Spanish site of the European Space Agency (ESA), will host the Working with Euclid Q1: From Data Access to Science Workshop from Monday 1 December to Wednesday 3 December 2025.
The workshop will focus on the data made available in March 2025 with the ESA Euclid Q1 data release, offering over 63 square degrees of high-resolution sky imaging tailored for non-cosmological research. Since its release, the dataset has already supported a wide range of scientific studies, from galaxy morphology and AGN identification to the discovery of strong gravitational lenses. Explore the first scientific publications using Euclid Q1 here, and learn more about the data release contents here.
Workshop Goals
This event will bring together researchers with and without prior experience using Euclid data to:
- Showcase new scientific results based on Euclid Q1 data.
- Explore research areas where Euclid data can be used.
- Learn how to work with Euclid Q1 using Euclid Data Space, Euclid Science Archive, ESASky, and ESA Datalabs.
Programme Highlights
The workshop will feature a mix of:
- Highlighted and contributed talks
- Poster presentations
- Demonstrations of accessing Euclid data using the Euclid Data Space portal
- Hands-on tutorial sessions on analysing data using the Euclid Archives, ESASky and ESA Datalabs science platform.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped to work with Euclid data and inspired to initiate new scientific collaborations.
