What’s This All About?

Join us for a 1-day interactive workshop exploring how Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) can support scientific reproducibility in space science.

Using astronomical data and tools like Zoobot and Euclid telescope imagery, we’ll dive into how MLOps workflows can organize, reproduce and support machine learning experiments.

No prior experience required – just bring your curiosity!

What You’ll Experience

Morning – Tutorials & Live Demos

  • Intro to MLOps tools & workflows
  • Track models, datasets and experiments
  • Understand how MLOps fits into scientific research

 Afternoon – Hackathon

  • Hands-on challenge:
    • Reproduce a galaxy classification model (Zoobot)
    • Transition from Hubble to Euclid data

 Wrap-up – Social Drinks

After a full day of learning and experimenting, we’ll head into Madrid for informal networking drinks!

 Who Should Attend?

This workshop is ideal for:

  • Astronomers & space sciencists
  • Students and curious young professionals
  • ML & data science practitioners
