Letter of Intent submission form

 

Individuals wishing to respond to the Announcement of Opportunity for Interdisciplinary Scientists and Guest Investigators in the ExoMars 2022 mission must first submit a mandatory Letter of Intent, using the submission form below. Only pdf files will be accepted; files must not be locked or protected; the maximum file size accepted is 10 MB.

Proposals not preceded by a corresponding Letter will not be considered.

An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the applicant at the email address provided, upon successful submission of the Letter of Intent.

You will not be able to submit your proposal without providing this consent as it is required to further process your submission. Some of the Assessors are based outside the European Union (EU)/ European Economic Area (EEA). Explicit consent must be provided so that you acknowledge that your data may be sent outside of the EEA, as part of your proposal, to countries that are not recognised by the EU as providing an Adequate Level of Protection for personal data. Technical and contractual measures are in place (encryption in transit and non-disclosure understandings) to protect your data, however as these countries are not covered by GDPR, we cannot guarantee the safety of your data. ​​​​​​​

Note that a second privacy policy that pertains to the website must also be accepted before the submission is completed. ESA cannot accept applications from individuals who do not accept the terms of the privacy policy.

Notes on using the submission form

Enter the information in all the mandatory fields (indicated by *)
Select IDS or GI.
Upload your file and wait for the on-screen message confirming that the file has been uploaded.
Accept the privacy policy for the AO and click on Submit.
​​​​​​​You will then be presented with a summary of your submission details and the second privacy policy (related to the website). When you accept that policy and click on Confirm your information will be submitted.
