Solar-MACH
- Solar-MACH: A tool for plotting the position of spacecraft and solar system bodies in the ecliptic - together with the nominal Parker spiral for a given solar wind speed; (SERPENTINE consortium)
Magnetic Connectivity tool
- Magnetic Connectivity tool: A tool for analysing the magnetic connectivity from the Sun to several spacecraft in the inner heliosphere; (IRAP, Toulouse)
Combined IN-SITU plots
- Solar Orbiter In-situ Quicklook Plots: Combined timeseries plots based on data from Solar Orbiter MAG, RPW, and SWA instruments; (IRF, Uppsala)
SERPENTINE Hub: Solar Energetic particle analysis tools
Here one can find the tools created within the SERPENTINE project (a European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme). They are available from the general SERPENTINE repository at GitHub, and can also be run on the SERPENTINE Hub server without the need to install Python locally. It includes:
- an Energetic Particle Data Loaders Notebook (useful for EPD)
- a dynamic spectrum plotter for different charged particle species measured by the current heliospheric spacecraft fleet and radio observations (useful for EPD + RPW)
- a notebook to determine the onset times of an SEP event
- a time shift analysis notebook to interactively determine the solar release time for an SEP event observed in different energy channels
More explanations can be found here.
Comprehensive Solar Energetic Electron event CATalogue (CoSEE-Cat)
- CoSEE-Cat: A catalogue of energetic electron events and their solar sources detected with multiple instruments on Solar Orbiter: (AIP, Potsdam)
Large-Scale Structures Originating from the Sun (LASSOS)
- SoloHI LASSOS: A catalogue of coronal mass ejections observed with Solar Orbiter SoloHI and other spacecraft / instruments (NRL/NASA)
