MERCURY LABORATORY WORKSHOP 2025

We are pleased to invite the Mercury research community to attend the second edition of the Mercury Laboratory Workshop, taking place from 15 to 17 September 2025 and organized by the University of Helsinki.

 

This workshop aims to bring together researchers from across institutions and laboratories to:

  • Share updates on laboratory work, facilities, and Mercury analogue studies,

  • Discuss the latest findings on Mercury’s surface composition, from MESSENGER to BepiColombo,

  • Coordinate plans for laboratory experiments using common reference samples,

  • Strategize scientific preparations for upcoming BepiColombo observations.

The 2025 workshop continues the collaborative spirit established at the inaugural meeting in DLR, Berlin and is supported by the University of Helsinki, ESA, and Europlanet.

We look forward to seeing you in Helsinki.
