Early Career Researcher Travel Support

We are pleased to be able to provide 5 awards of up to 1000 Euros each to support in-person attendance by Early Career Researchers to TherMoPS IV.

To apply for the support, please email your CV and a 1 page cover letter describing why you are applying and what you hope to gain from in-person attendance at TherMoPS IV, to  ines.torres@esa.int,  by the deadline Monday 27 March 2023 (end of day CET).

Payment of the support shall be via reimbursement, up to a ceiling of 1000 EUR, of the following costs:

  • Travel costs (e.g. airplane, train, bus, taxi)

  • Daily subsistence, at a rate of 50 EUR per day of the workshop attended.

  • Hotel bill.

 

Eligibility

Early Career Researchers are defined as those who are registered in a program of study related to the field of the workshop, or have received a PhD no earlier than 18 April 2018 (5 years before the start date of the workshop).

In order to be eligible for Early Career Researcher Travel Support applicants must have an abstract accepted for presentation at TherMoPS IV.
