Venue and transportation

     

    The Symposium will be held at ESTEC, ESA's Space Research and Technology Centre, located in Noordwijk, The Netherlands. It will be held in the Newton 1 and 2 rooms. After entering through the main gate, please follow the road with all member state's flags towards the main reception. The receptionist will be able to point you towards the Newton 1 and 2 rooms. You will also receive an email with detailed directions shortly before the Symposium week.

    TRANSPORT TO/FROM ESTEC

     

    Schiphol Airport

    A shuttle bus service is available between ESTEC to Schiphol Airport from Monday to Friday. The price of a single trip is 20.00€.

    At ESTEC, shuttle tickets may be purchased on the bus or at ESTEC reception. Note that payment by credit card is not possible at ESTEC reception.

    The schedule is as follows:

    ESTEC to Schiphol – Departure from ESTEC Reception

    Monday to Friday:

    • 14:30 hrs.
    • 15:30 hrs.
    • 16:30 hrs.
    • 18:00 hrs

    Schiphol to ESTEC – Departure from Meeting Point Schiphol Airport. You can find the Meeting Point in de
    middle of Amsterdam Schiphol Plaza across the Burger King and in between train platform 3/4 and 5/6.

    Monday to Friday:

    • 09:00 hrs.
    • 10:00 hrs.

    BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

    The nearest bus stops are:

    • Keplerlaan, Katwijk, ESTEC (located just outside the gate) line 430 to Leiden Centraal
    • 'Schorpioen' (bus stop located approx. 300 metres from the entrance gate) line 385 to Katwijk, The Hague, Noordwijk and Sassenheim.
