PRESENTER INFORMATION
 

Oral presentations

  • The time allocated to your presentation as indicated in the programme includes discussion.

  • The meeting room is large, it does have multiple screens, nevertheless do avoid the use of too small fonts.

  • There will be a PC (Windows 7) and a Mac (Mojave) available for presenting, your choice. However, you cannot use your own computer.

  • Bring your presentation on a stick please, preferably named hh:mm_YournameInitials.filetype, if multiple files, put them in a similarly named folder.

  • Please make sure your file/folder is availabe in the presenter computer well before the start of your session.

  • Be on time and respect the the warnings from the session chair.

 

Poster presentations

  • Poster size is maximum 140 cm tall times max 90 cm wide, this is larger than size A0 (119x84).

  • Every poster will have an allocated space, either on a stand or on a wall. Push pins and tape will be available.

  • You need to bring a printed poster, there will be no printing facilities available.

  • Please do bring a one sheet poster, do not use multiple sheets to make up a poster.

  • Posters will be on display throughout the entire conference, you are encouraged to mount your poster as early as possible.

  • Remove your poster at the end of the meeting. Any remaining posters will be disposed of.

 

Posting of all presentations

  • We would like to post all presentations (talks and posters) on the ESA Cosmos ARIEL website (this site!).

  • Please provide a pdf file of your presentation to the organisers for this purpose (or allow us to make one from your presentation). It is OK to leave out one or two 'not yet to be posted' slides if desirable.
