9 November 2018 Today we have installed the 4th Dutch FRIPON camera. It will be hosted by A. Tukkers (Cosmos Sterrenwacht) in Denekamp. 24 February 2018 In Dec 2017, we have installed a second FRIPON camera in Oostkapelle, Zeeland, at the observatory of Klaas Jobse. We had recorded one smaller fireball together - last night we recorded one around lunar brightness! The camera directly after ihstallation can be seen on the left image. read more

Perseids 2016

12 August 2016 2016 Aug 12 - Our CILBO stations successfully observed the Perseids - each of our LIC cameras recorded around 200 Perseids in addition to about 100 other meteors. In several cases meteors appeared almost simultaneously - unfortunately our detection software only stores the data of one meteor in this case... read more
