Rationale

The symposium is the sixth meeting in the series "The X-ray Universe".

It is intended to encompass a broad range of high energy astrophysics topics and provide a showcase for results and discoveries not only from XMM-Newton but also from other current missions. In addition, the scientific potential of future projects will be discussed at the conference.

Session topics will include, among others:

  • Exoplanets and their host stars
  • White Dwarf Binaries, Neutron Star and Black Hole Binaries, & ULXs
  • Supernovae, SNRs, Isolated Neutron Stars, & Diffuse Emission

Registration and abstract submission opening: early January 2023
Abstract submission deadline: Friday, 24 February 2023
Early registration deadline: Friday, 5 May 2023
Symposium start: Monday, 12 June 2023
