Main Research Fields

I am the Project Scientist for the ExoMars Trace Gas Orbiter.

My main scientific interests are

  • Study of planetary atmospheres, their meteorology and their evolution (Venus, Mars, Titan)
  • Development of meteorological instrumentation (both in situ and orbital) for planetary exploration
  • Development of planetary science missions

  • Mars Express / Beagle 2 (as co-Investigator in the Environmental Sensor Suite, 2000-2003)
  • Venus Express (VIRTIS team 2003-2015, Science Operations co-ordinator, 2011-2015)
  • ExoMars Schiaparelli (co-I in the environmental sensor suite)
  • EnVision (as science study team member in study phase)
