Waldemar Martens

Mission Analyst

Main Research Fields

I am an astrodynamics expert with a background in theoretical physics. My current work revolves around trajectory design for interplanetary missions. I am a member of the LISA study team where I'm responsible for the orbit design and analysis. Morever, I'm interested in the LISA instrument, the data analysis and the design of post-LISA gravitational wave detectors.

As project manager of the AMAT (Advanced Mission Analysis Tools) project, I'm leading a small team of software developers to renew ESOC's preliminary mission design software.
