C. Philippe Escoubet

Space Plasma Physicist

Main Research Fields

I am interested in Solar-Terrestrial relation and in particular in the entry of plasma in the Earth’s magnetic field. My regions of interest are the polar cusp, the magnetopause and boundary layers and magnetic reconnection and Kelvin–Helmholtz processes. I am also interested in spacecraft-plasma interaction through electric fields, spacecraft potential, electron and ions measurements.
